Welcome to my corner of the internet!
People are often surprised when they hear my background. I am a nurse by profession, but I’ve always experimented with technology and game development starting with mods for StarCraft and even some level design in Unreal Tournament. While nursing and game programming might seem like opposite worlds, both require careful observation, problem-solving under constraints, and lots and lots and lots of patience.
A few things I’ll be writing about here:
- Behind-the-scenes progress on my projects, from early prototypes to finished projects (rare for me to “finish” a project).
- Tinkering with software and microcontrollers, and sharing what I learn along the way.
